Catherine Shoosmith

Catherine was a widow for over 50 years, seeing her sons successful farmers in Rodmell and West Dean.

• Baptism, 11 Jul 1735, Laughton, East Sussex England.

Catherine married Robert Saxby, son of Robert Saxby and Elizabeth Marchant, on 7 Feb 1753 in Laughton, East Sussex England. (Robert Saxby was born in 1732, died on 27 Apr 1773 and was buried in May 1773 in Rodmell, Sussex England.)
