William Hiscock

  General Notes:

William's parents and eight of his brothers and sisters sailed on the Northumbria in September 1852 and arrived in Australia in January 1853.
William Hiscock was not on the ship with his parents. A story from one of his descendants suggests he came out on a different ship. He was burnt out in a bush fire and returned to England where he married Ann Nicholson. They came back to Australia in the 1860's.
Address at time of death was 5 Peel Street, Kew.

William 1832 returned to England and married Ann Nicholson Mar Q 1863 Westmister 1a 457, William Henry was born Dec Q 1863 Lambert 1d 305, William returned to Australia on "Queen Bee" arriving Sep 1863 age 27 if this is him then he came back before his son was born, Ann 34 & son 1 arrived Aug 1865 on "London" no William on that boat.

William married Ann Nicholson, daughter of John Nicholson and Elizabeth Churcher, in 1863 in Westminster, London, Middlesex England. (Ann Nicholson was born in 1832 in Skye, Scotland UK and died on 13 Feb 1910 in Church St, Brighton, Victoria Australia.)
