Kilmore Free Press, Thursday July 18 1946:-
Mr. Percy Hiscock.
The death occurred on Sunday of Mr. Percy Hiscock, at the Kilmore Hospital after a short illness. Born at Pyalong 80 years ago, the deceased was the son of the late William and Ann Hiscock and had spent the whole of his life, excepting a short time in Tasmania, in that district, being widely known and highly respected. He is survived by his widow.
After a service at Christ Church, Kilmore, the internment was made in the Kilmore cemetery Tuesday, Rev. C. W. Partridge officiating at the church and graveside. The cortege was a large one and many beautiful floral tributes were received, testifying to the respect in which the late Mr. Hiscock was held.
Funeral arrangements were carried out by B. A. Skehan, Kilmore.

Percy married Amy Maud Eginton, daughter of Eli Charles Eginton and Elizabeth Heaps, on 23 Oct 1907 in St Johns C of E, Launceston, Tasmania Australia. (Amy Maud Eginton was born on 21 Mar 1879 in Fingal, Tasmania Australia and died on 28 Mar 1961 in Kilmore, Victoria Australia.)
