Susan Joy (Sue) Buerckner

  General Notes:

Sue Buerckner was born just after midnight on a Sunday morning in Condobolin N.S.W, which is about 100Kms from Parkes N.S.W, and is situated on the Broken Hill Railway Line. The Population at the time of writing (1999) is about 3500. She later moved to Tullamore with her family. Her Father, Fred Buerckner bought a small farm at Albert named 'Wansbeck' and they all moved there, where Sue and her brothers and sisters went to School. She was still living there when she married Bill McKie on 6th Sep 1973. Albert is a Village 22Kms East of Tottenham and about 122Kms West of Parkes. Albert is well known for it's little Hotel, which is called "The Rabbit Trap".
Bill and Sue moved to Bundanoon in June 1988. Sue started work at the Bundanoon Public School just after moving to Bundanoon. She was medically retired about 1997 after she injured her back at work.

Susan married William Francis (Bill) McKie, son of William Parker (Jock) McKie and Rosabell Mary Watson, on 6 Sep 1973 in Condobolin, NSW Australia. (William Francis (Bill) McKie was born on 12 Aug 1946 in Parkes, NSW Australia.)
