Ivy Josephine Dilia DOYLE
Gave up smoking late 1980's. She was admitted to the Condobolin Nursing Home (Retirement Village) in the Hostel side in 1996, suffering from Dementia. She was later moved to the nursing side of the home so that she could be looked after better. The dementia she has is called ( Picks Disease.)
Her 80th Birthday was celebrated with a large cake bought by her daughter Sue McKie, and was enjoyed by all the patients and staff. Sue and Bill McKie and another daughter, Beverley Nash were there for the day. The next day, Patricia and Tubby arrived and Sue and Beverley spent the day at the home with them.
'Jo' as she was known, Passed away on Friday night the 23rd of July 2004 at 7:30 pm. She was interred with her husband in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Trundle, NSW on the 27th July 2004, following a Service in the Catholic Church at 11:00 am.

Ivy married Frederick (Fred) Buerckner, son of Charles Henry Buerckner and Elizabeth Shankland (Bess) Armstrong, on 30 Apr 1941 in Tullamore, NSW Australia. (Frederick (Fred) Buerckner was born on 17 Nov 1916 in Gobondry St, Trundle, NSW Australia, died on 29 Apr 1983 in Trundle, NSW Australia and was buried on 2 May 1983 in Presbyterian Portion, Trundle Cemetery, NSW Australia.)
