OBITUARY from Newspaper, Sharon Herald, dated March 28, 1942:

Mrs. William H. Henning, 61, Alexandria, Virginia., formerly of Sharon, (died in Buhl hospital last night following six weeks' illness.
Mrs. Henning was visiting Mrs. Thomas Scraggs, 329 Norris Av, when she was stricken ill. Her death has caused deep regret among many friends here.
Mrs. Henning was born in Alexandria on February 11, 1881; and was a daughter of Hillman and Katherine Fahnline Bayliff.
Surviving are her mother; three sisters, Mrs. William Roat and Miss Jeannie Bayliff, Alexandria, and Mrs. Agnes Hoffman, Los Angeles,; and three brothers, David, George and John, all of Alexandria.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of relatives. The body is at Sample Funeral Home.

"Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Mayne Bayliss of Sharon, Pennsylvania., and Mr. William Henning. The date for wedding has not been set, but will be an event of the coming summer. Miss Bayliss is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Bayliss of Fairfax county." Marriage probably took place during the summer of 1913 in either Sharon, Pennsylvania. or Fairfax County, Virginia.
