Violet was raised as the eldest child of the WATMAN family and lived her life as a WATMAN. Aunty Sally (Sarah Mary Warby) was living with her sister, Margaret Ellen (my grandmother) and her husband, Henry BENNETT when Violet was born illegitimate. Aunty Sally returned to the Maitland area where she met and married Albert John WATMAN. It is believed that Violet's birth father was a Morpeth Aboriginal.

Violet married James Eade in 1926 in Morpeth, NSW Australia. (James Eade was born in 1902 in Wallsend, Newcastle, NSW Australia, died on 22 Sep 1956 in Maitland, NSW Australia and was buried on 25 Sep 1956 in Maitland East, NSW Australia.)

Violet had a relationship with Robert Mason. (Robert Mason was born in 1906 in Kurri Kurri, NSW Australia, died on 3 Aug 1965 in Karuah, NSW Australia and was buried on 5 Aug 1965 in Newcastle crematorium, Beresfield, NSW Australia.)
