FASSIFERN DISTRICT KALBAR.
"Jumble Tea."
On Thursday evening, a large gathering of friends assembled in the Kalbar Salvation Army Barracks, when members of the corps organised a "Jumble tea."
to two of their comrades - Sister Elsie Peters and Bro. Roy Keebler whose marriage is arranged to take place on Wednesday.
Captain Lingard was in the chair. Those who expressed good wishes to the guests included:
Mesdames C. Kubler and J. Neuendorf, sen. Envoys J. B. Pennell and F.
Windolf, S.S..M. Bro. J. Lots, Messrs. C. Keebler and J. Peters.
Sister Peters and Brother Keebler returned thanks. During the proceedings selections were played by the band, under Bandmaster J.
Neuendorf.
Refreshments were served by the comrades.
As a result of the evening, a beautiful collection of gifts was received.
