• source. Peter Falvey who notes:
They lived on the top of the hill on the left hand side of the Boonah Kalbar turnoff at Fassifern Valley. In 1880 they were known to have a weatherboard house, slab house and barn. They returned to Germany two or three times to visit relatives..
Whilst living in Boonah two of Louise's brothers rode to Fassifern Valley from Mt Morgan and had some gold they had found in their saddle bags. They stayed one or two nights, rode off again and were never heard of again.
