Donald Graeme Buntine

  General Notes:

Donald Graeme Buntine enlisted in the Navy on the 9 July 1954 for a period of 8 years. His mother Irene Kubsch was next of kin and her address was: - St James Hotel, St James, Vic.
Donald was 5 feet 7 and a quarter inches, hair - brown, eyes - grey, complexion - pale, religious denomination - Church of England. He had an appendix scar.
Donald served on the "Cerberus", "Penquin", "Lonsdale', "Melbourne" and "Watson" at various times throughout his career.
On the 15th July 1959 Donald was slightly injured in a road accident, he fractured his pelvis and was sent to the Wangaratta Base Hospital. He was also in the Bathurst Hospital with Pyelitis (inflammation of the pelvis, or the kidney) for three days in February 1960.
Donald left the Navy on 18th July 1962.

Donald married Lilian Myrtle Dunn, daughter of James Bertie Dunn and Kathleen Mary Barton. (Lilian Myrtle Dunn was born on 7 Mar 1945 in Pakenham, Victoria Australia, died on 7 Apr 2007 in South Eastern Hospital, Noble Park, Victoria Australia and was buried on 11 Apr 2007.)
