[grayfamilytree.FTW] [learmouth.FTW] Saw Miller at St Ninian s. Toll Keeper at Airdrie. He seems to have moved around the country in search of work. He held varied jobs and ended up as a Toll Keeper. I have still to investigate this role. I have had trouble finding the dates of birth exactly as per Parish Records. I used the Census returns to supply dates but these were very inacurate. It even said two sisters were twins. This was not right. I still need to research more deeper the records, the issue is what Parish were the children born as Archibald as stated previously moved around the area in search for work on Farms which was common for Ploughmen or Horsemen. They by all accounts were hired seasonaly and went to markets in Towns to get the shilling to be taken on for that season.
