I met Vivian, who is the daughter of Charles Cheetham Jnr in Bundaberg a few days ago.

She told me that her father Charles had contact with the English family (his cousins) from the First World War when he used to visit them when on leave from France until the end of the Second World War.
He received letter right at the end of the war saying they were going on holidays to the seaside and never heard from them again.
He thought that the might have been killed in a bombing raid.
