General Notes:
Florence spent her childhood at "Coonong" Station at Urana where her father was Station Manager.
Coonong Station, built 1870 with 23 rooms by Samuel McCaughey was unfortunately burnt to the ground in 1993/94 along with millions of dollars worth of paintings (a number of them by Norman Lindsay) and antique furniture and fixtures.
Florence was employed as a house keeper in the Hay region and then in Sydney in 1955 was working as a finisher at "Freidle", a childrens' wear manufacturer and was living in a unit opposite her daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Dick at Muriel Street, Hornsby NSW.
Florence moved to Riverwood in ?, where she lived in a pensioner unit complex, not far from her sons, Neville (2 or 3 minute walk) and Russell (a short train trip), and daughter Nola (bus ride) and their families.
