William was transported out to N.S.W on the "Marquis of Hastings"arriving 3-1-1826. He was 22 years old and was trailed at Somerset26-3-1825 he got life (conviction unknown). He was assigned to MrHannibal MacArther of Arthursleigh,Sutton Forest,N.S.W. Early in 1828his brother John arrived as a steerage passenger and joined William atSutton Forest.
