Honora Devoy was born on June 23, 1884 in Cainbill Creek, Cassilis. She was the daughter of Francis Joseph Devoy and Honora Meree Maloney. She was an attractive young woman who was named 'Belle of the Ball' in 1911 despite being seven months pregnant with her fourth child, Edward. She died in Sydney on August 10, 1966 and was also buried at Rookwood.
