Amy Isobel Conwell was born in 1885 in Sydney and met William Henry Hansen with whom she had a daughter out of wedlock, Ellen Rose Conwell, born 1902. Her parents refused to let her speak to him again as she was only 17 and he was a Protestant. William was born in Redfern, Sydney on the 20^th May 1882 and died on the 27^th February 1972 on Lord Howe Island. He never married, he was waiting for his Amy.

Amy married Alexander Adams in 1906 in Sydney and they had 4 known children, Veronica born 1906, Catherine 1910, Emily 1917 and Ivy 19--.

From at least 1930 to 1977 Amy was living at 30 Booth St, Arncliffe and she was a cleaner. Her children were living with her, but there is no sign of her husband.

Alexander died on the 10^th April 1937 and Amy in 1978.

Amy married William Henry Hansen circa 1902. (William Henry Hansen was born on 20 May 1882 in Redfern, Sydney, NSW Australia, died on 27 Feb 1972 in Lord Howe Island, NSW Australia and was buried on 28 Feb 1972 in Lord Howe Island, NSW Australia ¹²⁸⁴.)
