There were 3 Dennett extended family houses in Arncliffe. 'Our' Dennetts lived variously at 4 Cook St, , 5 Willington St (previouslty called King St) and 28 Loftus St. The Loftus St and Cook St houses were opposite each other. From 1908 to 1910 GHD's family were in Cook St, from 1911 to 1916 GHD senior was at Willington St (possibly with GHD junior and wife from 1913), from 1920 to 1923 the 2 GHDs were at Cook St and 28 Loftus St, from 1925 to 1930 at Cook St and Willington St, and from 1931 after GHD senior's death GHD junior was at Willington St. George and Mary lived there until ~ 1968. The Loftus St and Cook St houses were also still in the extended Dennett family in 1936- mother Christiana at 4 Cook St, and brother Jack (a 'fibrous mixer') and his wife Lillian at 28 Loftus St. Jack died in 1958 aged ~ 59 and Lillian in 1966.
