Peter Morris notes:
married Winifred Faith Payne on 13^th March 1938 and they had a son Robert in 1940. They lived most of their married life in Condamine Road at Balgowlah and Eric was the Sales Manager for clothing manufacturer, Sargood Gardiner. When he retired they moved to Bantry Bay and then buying the store and boathouse at Lake Conjola on the NSW south coast.
