MRS. J. W. TULLY.
   We regret to announce the death at Kilmore on Friday last, of Mrs Beatrice May Tully, wife of Mr. John W. Tully, of High street, Lancefield after a short illness.
   The late Mrs. Tully was the youngest daughter of the late Harry and Janet Hiscock, and was born at Mangalore, Victoria. Her parents came from England, Mr. Hiscock being a native of Hampshire. They came to Lancefield about 40 years ago. Of their fourteen children, only one daughter, Mrs. S. T. Derrick remains in Lancefield, five sons and four daughters now in various parts of Australia. The eldest son, Frank, died about six weeks ago.
   The deceased lady had lived most of her life in Lancefield, and in 1942 was married to Mr. J. W. Tully. She was of a quiet and friendly disposition, and was very popular with all who knew her.
   After a service at Christ Church of England, the funeral at Lancefield cemetery on Saturday was largely attended, and there were many beautiful floral tributes.
   The coffin bearers were Messrs G. Hiscock, G. Tully, F. Tully, T. Tully, J. Gutridge, R. McElhinney, W. Mustey and H. Hunt.
   The services at the Church and the graveside were conducted by the Rev. A. C. Donnelly.
   The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. W. A. Gallpen.

Beatrice married John William Tully, son of Daniel Tully and Bridget Fogarty, in 1942 in Victoria Australia. (John William Tully was born in 1892 in Lancefield, Victoria Australia, died on 25 Aug 1974 in Lancefield, Victoria Australia and was buried on 28 Aug 1974 in Lancefield, Victoria Australia.)
