Jane died from Pleurisy.

Mrs Dickson of Mangalore, died on Monday last at the ripe old age of 72 years. The deceased lady, who had been ailing for some time back, was an old resident of these parts and highly respected by all. She has left a husband and large circle of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. The funeral took place on Wednesday and was largely attended by friends from all parts of the district.

Jane married Christopher Dixon, son of Christopher G. Dixon and Janet Graham, on 16 Mar 1838 in Westerkirk County, Dumfries, Scotland UK.
