The death occurred at his residence “Pine Hill” Willowmarvin on Dec 30 of Mr. Allen Goodman, at the age of 77 years. Deceased was an old and highly respected resident of the district and is survived by his widow, son (Rupert) and daughter (Vera). The internment took place at the Kilmore Cemetery on Monday, and cortege was a very large one. Rev. S. Taylor conducting the service at the graveside. The casket bearers were Messrs. G. Stray, R. Bowers, J. Hiscock and G. Hiscock:- whilst the pall was supported by Crs A. McNab, T. Chapman Messrs T. Hiscock, K. Kelleher, J. Ahearn, H. Wilkie, F. Rudd and J. Fanning. Mr. B. A. Skehan carried out funeral arrangements.

(Emma Louisa Hiscock was born in 1875 in Pyalong, Victoria Australia, died on 27 Nov 1948 in Kilmore, Victoria Australia and was buried on 29 Nov 1948 in Kilmore General Cemetery, Victoria Australia.)
