On September 14, Mr. Leonard Hiscock of “Sunnyside”, Willowmarvin, passed away suddenly at his home. He was aged 80 years.
Son of the late Eliza and Thomas Hiscock, he is survived by one brother George. Five sisters and three brothers predeceased him.
Although crippled and confined to a wheelchair, his spirit and cheerfulness, over the years was a fine example to all who knew him.
Visitors to his home never ceased to be amazed at some of the tasks he could perform from his chair.
Following a service at Christ Church, Kilmore, on September 16, interment was made in the Kilmore General Cemetery. A Skehan and Co, Kilmore handled the funeral arrangements.
