Christopher George Dixon enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 19/2/1918. He stated that he had served in the Light Horse for three years. His Certificate Of Medical Examination describes Christopher as 26 years 4 months, height - 5 feet 6 inches, weight 126 lbs, chest measurement 31and a half inches/34 and a half inches, complexion - fresh, eyes - blue, hair - dark and religious denomination - Prebyterian. His distinctive marks were - One vaccination mark left arm, mole below left eye, mole near left nipple and scar left knee. Christopher served in France and returned to Australia on the "Valencia" disembarking on 14/9/1919.
