MOTOR-CYCLIST STRIKES TRAM.
While riding a motor-cycle along Victoria street, Burnley, yesterdav evening, a man, believed to be W. T. Mustey, Toorak road, Camberwell, who is employed at the Tooronga Fibrous Plaster Company's
works, collided with a cable tram. He was later admitted to the Melbourne Hospital, suffering from a fractured skull.

Fined After Accident.
Although Mr. Conlan, P.M., at the Richmond Court on Tuesday, said that William Thomas Mustey, of Toorak road, Camberwell, had much the worst of the occurrence, he found him guilty of having driven a motor-cycle in a negligent manner on September 11. The charge against Mustey was the outcome of an accident which occurred in Victoria street, Richmond.
H. J. Clarkson, a cable-tram gripman, said that Mustey was riding a motor-cycle in front of the tram. He was travelling on the left-hand side of the road, when suddenly he swerved, and the motor-cycle crashed into the tram. Mustey was taken to the Melbourne Hospital for treatment.
Mustey said that he applied his brake suddenly, and skidded into the tram. He was In bed for two weeks after the accident.
A fine of £2, with 17/6 costs, was imposed.

Had a partnership with his brother Charles manufacturing Fibroplaster.
