Mrs. Meinel, 81, Dies at Jefferson

JEFFERSON - Mrs. Margaret Meinel, 82, died at the home of her son, Fred W., 1315 N. Main st., at 8:35 p. m. Monday after an illness of two weeks.
The former Margaret Miller was born on Feb. 9, 1868, in Aztalam and had lived in this community all her life, residing in the city of Jefferson since 1919. She was married to Henry Meinel of Jefferson on June 2, 1887. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Meinel was a member of the Ladies Aid society of St. John's Lutheran church.
She is survived by three sons, Fred W., Willam N. and George M., all of Jefferson: six grandchildren and on great-grandchild. A brother and four sisters preceded her in death.
The Rev. Richard Mueller will conduct funeral services in St. John's Lutheran church at 2:15 p. m. Thursday. The body will be taken from the Minshall funeral home to the church at 12:30 p. m. Thursday. Burial will be in union cemetery.
