Noted events in his life were:

• source. Rita Dowdall who writes:
[grayfamilytree.FTW] [learmouth.FTW] The interesting part is that the Clackmannan family list Andrew occupation as sailor, this could be as the small villages on the Forth at this time did carryout trade with the continent in village owned craft. Clackmannan did have a pier of sorts. I tried to Trace Andrew as a sailor but no luck, he was never registered. In this time they needed to be to get a job on board. I have seen a family tree showing Andrew's father as the parent of the Clackmannan family, I can't see it his age for a start was against him and I could not see him entering the sea as a sailor at his age when he spent most of it ashore in Gardening. He is not buried local I have looked, I was contacted recently by a Canadian descendant who says that Andrew was on board the "Beaver" and he is confident he was Andrew son and not Andrew senior. Then their is the wedding in Muiravonside, the link back to the Learmonth I have intimated in other notes for Andrew Senior. I have verbal tales of family ties to the Bo'ness and Polmont Learmonth's. I see no reason to distrust the source my Grandfather John and his visits to see his cousins in Bo'ness/he also stayed with them at periods through his life. The sole links to the census on 1841 Dunmore village can be this Andrew or his son. I have listed accordingly as I have not been able to clarify as no age was given on the return.
