I received a Covington History Generations Report from Martin Covington (UK) on August 18, 2003 which contained the following information :

Charlotte Covington, b. April 14, 1858 at Ashwell, chr. there June 3, 1856 father William Covington mother Waldock

Married January- March 1878 at Royston to name not known

  Noted events in her life were:

• Census, 1881, The Green, Steeple Morden, Cambridgeshire. Charlotte Parrish, age 22, b. in Ashwell, Hertford, was living with her husband, David Parrish, head of household, age 25, b. in Steeple Morden, Cambridge, agricultural labourer, and two daughters : Matilda Parrish, age 2, b. in Steeple Morden, Cambridge ; Ruth Parrish, age 10 months, b, in Steeple Morden, Cambridge.

They lived at The Green, Steeple Morden, Cambridge.

• Census, 1901, 46 Rounton Road, Waltham Holy Cross, Essex England. a). <b>Charlette </b>Parrish, age 42, b, in Ashwell, Hertford, was living in Waltham Holy Cross, Essex.

Also living there were her husband, David Parrish, age 45, b. in Steeple Morden, Cambridge, labourer in cordite factory, and three children : Albert Parrish, age 17, b. in Steeple Maurlen (!), Cambridge, house painter ; Nannie Parrish, age 12, b. in Steeple Maurlen (!), Cambridge ; Bertie Parrish, age 7, b. in Cheshunt (!), Herts.
