(George Austin was born between Oct 1844 and Dec 1844 in Ashwell, Hertfordshire England, christened on 27 Oct 1844 in Ashwell, Hertfordshire England and died between Apr 1875 and Jun 1875 in Royston District, Hertfordshire England.)

a). There is a marriage entry in the IGI for Mary Ann Covington and George Austin on June 26, 1869 in Ashwell, Hertford, the entry states that he was 24, son of Adam Austin, and she was 21, daughter of William Covington.

b). I received a Covington History Generations Report from Martin Covington (UK) on August 18, 2003 which contained the following information :

Mary next married Nathan Moss between Apr 1880 and Jun 1880 in Royston District, Hertfordshire England. (Nathan Moss was born between Oct 1854 and Dec 1854 in Steeple Morden, Cambridgeshire England and died between Jul 1897 and Sep 1897 in Edmonton District, London, Middlesex England.)

a). There is no marriage entry in the IGI for Nathan Moss and Mary Ann Covington / Austin, but they are shown as married in the 1881 census.

Note : Since their daughter, Nellie, was born about 1877, they would have been married before this date.
