• fact. John accompanied Governor Macquarie in his bush travels to Bargo and the Nattai Riberand in hunting aborigines who were troublesome.

• fact. The Deputy Commissary General's Office, Sydney, Published a list of people tendering supplies of fresh meat for th eGovernment Stores. Amongst those listed was a john Warby who would deliver 500lbs (250 kg) to Liverpool, Sydney of 23 Nov 1816. This gives the impression that John had an established herd at Airds in 1816. In August 1817 and march 1818 John Tendered 2.500 lbs (1,250kg) of fresh meat for the use of the Government stores.
