The Mitchell's have always interested me from when I went to the church in Swan Hill, built by William Mitchell senior, at about 5 years old and later to show my children. One of Agnes' girls was a teacher at the church in my dad's first parish at Mt Barker W.A. and I have a booklet with a photo of her with the students.

William married Isa Izon Bickley, daughter of Samuel Wallace Bickley and Marianne Amelia Thomson, on 23 Feb 1853 in Kenwick, Western Australia. (Isa Izon Bickley was born on 10 Feb 1834 in Kenwick, Western Australia and died on 18 Oct 1909 in Bunbury, Western Australia.)
