• fact. James Jackson (Head) age 54 born Lancs, Rochdale , he was a Carpenter & Grocer - he was married to Mary.A.Jackson age 55 born Bilston, Staffs. Living with them were their son James age 21, single & an office clerk also Mary Ann age 18 a servant away from work and Samuel.H age 16 a mechanic working with tools.

Visiting the Jackson household at the time were 3 men:
Edward Elcock - age 16 from Wolverhampton
Samuel Bibb - age 19 from Oldbury
Isaac Floustain? - from Polland

Margaret Joyce Bagby and her sister Lucy Bagby believe that Rebecca was raised by the Jacksons rather than by her birth parents.

UPDATE: Discovered through 1851 census that Rebecca was raised by her Aunt and Uncle.

In the Census of 1901 Rebecca is married to Job Bagby and they have their 4 children living with them in Terrace Street, Wednesbury, Staffordshire. Additionally a Mary.A.Jackson is residing with them as a lodger she is a 48 year old unmarried woman with an occupation of servant. It would appear that this is the Mary.A Jackson that Rebecca was raised alongside (her 9 year elder cousin).

Rebecca married Job Bagby, son of John Bagby and Mary Firkin. (Job Bagby was born in Feb 1860 in Darlaston, Staffordshire England.)
