My greatgrandfather Richard is buried in Barraba cemetery - quite a large headstone - I think the tallest in the whole cemetery !. At the foot of Richard's grave there is a very small plot with a rusted iron fence around it - it contains the remains of my Aunt Belle, who died at about 2 years of age. It is quite poignant to see it.

Richard married Mary Ann White, daughter of John White and Ann Harris, in 1861 in Sydney, NSW Australia. (Mary Ann White was born on 29 Oct 1841 in Poplar, London, Middlesex England and died on 11 Apr 1912 in Marrickville, Sydney, NSW Australia ⁷⁴⁰.)
