On the question of Zilpa ( or variations) we have checked the LDS Familysearch web site again. It has a Misella Butler baptised at Stoke Lyne,OXF in Dec 1819, daughter of John and Mary Butler. Using this version of her name we then searched the 1841 census and was pleased to find a Mizzilla Butler age 20 living in the household of Richard Varney at Box Hedge,Northrop, Banbury, Oxon. With her was a Mary Butler age 60 ,not born in county, and a John Butler age 15 a baker's apprentice. It looks like Mizzilla's father had died and her brother John had got a job in Banbury with accommodation for his mother and sister. A look on the 1851 census shows John Butler age 28, a journeyman baker, born Stoke Lyne, living at Fish Street,Banbury, with his wife Ann , daughter Mary A (age 4) and son William (age 2), both born Banbury. We did not search the later censuses or the BMD records, which no doubt will reveal a fuller story.
Misella married Bonner. (Bonner was born circa 1815.)
