After an illness extending over a period of 18 months the death occurred suddenly yesterday at "Longerenong South," Drung Drung, of Miss Thomasina Janet Carter. Deceased, who was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Carter, of Glenisla, was born in that district 59 years ago. Though living a retiring life, the late Miss Carter enjoyed the friendship of a wide circle of friends who will regret her passing. Brothers and sisters of deceased are: Messrs. W. C. and A. L. Carter (Drung Drung). Mr. F. J. Carter (West. Australia) Miss Jessie Carter (Drung Drung); Edith (Mrs. J. C. Potter, Horsham). The sympathy of many friends will be extended to the bereaved relatives. The funeral will leave the Presbyterian Church, Horsham, to-morrow (Saturday) at 3 p.m for the Horsham Cemetery.
