Smith married Edgar Vidler, who's family were one of the early
settlers names of Jamberoo. John Vidler pioneered Methodism to South
Coast districts and was one of the great preachers of his time. Rosa
Vidler attended school at Albion Park and at 90 years was honoured at
the centenary celebrations of the school, as one of it's oldest living
pupils. She lived the later part of her life at Wollongong.
