• Will. This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Dawes of Cowlong near
Lismor e in the State of New South Wales Farmer. I appoint George Dawes
and Stanley Gregory both of Cowlong aforesaid Farmers Trustees and
Executors of this my W ill. I give devise and bequeath all my real and
personal property whatsoever and wheresoever in the world including all
estates vested in me as Trustee or Mortgagee subject to the equities
affecting the same unto my said Trustees t heir heirs executors
administrators and assigns according to the nature and e state thereof
respectively. Upon the Trusts following that is to say after pa yment of
my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses Upon Trust for my Wi fe
Harriet Dawes during her life without impeachment of waste and with full
power to her to dispose of any chattel property in the usual course of
farmi ng business. And after her death to sell and convert the same into
money and receive and stand possessed of the proceeds upon the trusts
following that is to say. As to the sum of Three hundred pounds upon
trust for May Davies of C owlong Wife of William Davies Farmer. As to the
further sum of Three hundred pounds upon trust for Bertha Craddock of
Cowlong aforesaid Spinster. As to ba lance of the said proceeds Upon trust
for my brother Richard Dawes my brother Aaron Dawes my brother Norman
Dawes my brother Joseph Dawes my brother Caleb Dawes my sister Susan
Pearson my sister Naomi Pearson my niece Ann Pearson m y sister-in-law
Charlotte Dawes and my brother-in-law Daniel Draper in equal shares and
proportions. And I hereby direct and declare that Harry Pearson of
Cowlong shall have the right of purchasing from my said Trustees my farm
l ands at Cowlong aforesaid at any time within three months from the date
of th e death of my said Wife at or for the price or sum of Twelve pounds
ten shill ings per acre if he shall so desire. I direct and declare that
the receipts o f my said Trustees shall be good discharge for anypurchase
or other moneys re ceived by themunder this my Will and shall exonerate
the person or persons pa ying the same from all the responsibility for the
application non application or misapplication thereof - In witness
whereof I have hereunder set my hand this twelfth day of October one
thousand nine hundred and five.

presence of us both present at the same time
who at his request in his pres ence and in the
presence of each other have hereunto subscribed
