Ferdinand Henry Conwell was born in 1914 in Sydney. In 1936 he was a labourer and living with his family at "Kerry", 56 Bonar St, Arncliffe.
He married Dorothy Margaret Gladys Ledden at Rockdale in 1937 and they had 4 known children, Beverley born 19--, Ferdinand 19-, Evelyn 19-and Kelvin 19--.
In 1943 they were living with his parents at 18 Forsyth St, Randwick. Ferdinand was a burner.
In 1958 they were living at 477 Forest Rd, Bexley and Ferdy was a shopkeeper.
From at least 1963 to 1968 they were living at Northern Suburbs Cemetery, Delhi Rd, North Ryde where Ferdy as the superintendent.
