With his brothers, ran movie business at one time in Emmaville.
Lived 88 Pitt St, Mortdale.

Jim Truscott notes:
Robert Truscott remembers Tom Truscott as being very skilled with hand tools and machinery. He had a workshop full of tools at his house at 88 Pitt Street, in Mortdale in Sydney. As a young boy, Robert did something to upset Tom and Tom broke his ankle when chasing Robert! Robert Truscott remembers Alice (Tom's wife) living with their family in Dorrigo after Tom died. Alice died in Dorrigo Hospital and her cremated remains are next to Tom's ashes in the rose garden at Woronora cemetery in Sutherland, NSW.
