The 1861 England Census shows Elizabeth age 28 at Carharrack, the head of the household, married and living with her daughter Elizabeth age 7. As Samuel is not included on the census and Elizabeth is recorded as married it can be assumed that Samuel on the day of the census, is working at the mine and therefore not present. Men on shiftwork eg fishermen, miners etc were supposed to be registered on a census at their place of work but this was not always done by the employers.
Elizabeth married Samuel Bray, son of Thomas Bray and Jane (Jennie) Trevena, on 31 Oct 1850 in Gwennap With St Day, Cornwall England.950 (Samuel Bray was born in 1830 in Shallow Adit, Redruth, Cornwall England, christened on 30 Jan 1831 in Gwennap, Cornwall England 954 and died in Oct 1864 in Redruth, Cornwall England 950.)
