• Obituary. "Died in Attitude of Prayer
Leadville, Colo-Joseph Bray, aged eighty-two, was found dead on his knees at the side of his bed in the attitude of prayer. Early in the evening Bray complained of not feeling well and spoke of the possibility of his passing away very soon.
'My sister,' he said, 'died on bended knee. I would like to die in the same way.'
Bray came here ten years ago and had been living with a son, who is engaged in mining."
