Cristine Bacon, my grandmother, was born to Dorothy and Walter Bacon on 23 December 1935 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. She was the 3rd daughter and last child, much younger than her only surviving sister Dorothy so she grew up almost as an only child. I´ve been told that my great grandmother was very sad at the loss of her 2nd daughter Annie and didnt really talk about it, I never heard my grandmother mention a sister who had passed away either.
