Anne Shearer nee McNicholl arrived in Australia on the 10th of June 1857. She was listed as a General Servant from Armagh aged 21 years. After arrival she was employed by a Mrs Canterbury in Flinders Street on the 29th of June (Later she travelled to Maldon to reside with Samuel Shearer (junior) and his wife Mary Shearer (nee McNicholl)
Anne Shearer nee McNicholl passed away on the 20th April 1912.
Edward Shearer passed away on the 30th May 1916
At the time of their death it is understood that they were residing at Eveline Street, Campsie.
They are both buried in the Rookwood Cemetery in the Church of England Section


Anne married Edward Shearer, son of Samuel Shearer and Jane King, on 8 Dec 1860 in Maldon, Victoria Australia.
