Similar licences were issued for Elizabeth Smith for The Cross Keys at Church Street, Parramatta 18th July 1831, 19th July 1832, and 21st July 1834.

Have checked Publican's Licences 1841 and 1842 but found none for Elizabeth nor for the 'Cross Keys' at Parramatta. There was a William Smith who held a licence for the Cross Keys, corner of Kemp and Kent Streets, Sydney. No mention of the 'Cross Keys' at Parramatta. Our William would not have been old enough for a licence in 1841/42.
