They resided in the old Thompson homestead in Embden. They were both buried in the evergreen Cemetery at Salon, Maine. He as the son of Moses Thompson (who was born in June 1768 and drowned in the Kennebeck river, 11^th march 1831; buried on the farm at Embden) and his wife Mary, dau. Of Capt. Joseph Churchill, (born in New Portland, Maine in April 1768; died in Embden, 29^th Oct. 1847; and buried beside her husband, father, her husband's mother, her children and grand-children) .

Moses married Mary Churchill. (Mary Churchill was born in Apr 1768 in New Portland, Maine USA and died on 29 Oct 1847 in Embden, Somerset County, Maine USA.)
