Alan Bellamy was a plumber working, for a number of local licensed plumbers but toward the latter stage of his working life, with the Department of Public Works and after winning the NSW Lottery with a prize of he built a brick house in George Street at Epping. At the same time he could afford to buy a brand new 'Oldsmobile' motor car. On Mar 26, 1929 at St. John's Parramatta he married May Banks (b. May 20, 1907 at Bathurst). Cecil died 14 May, 1976 and May, after living with her daughter, passed away on 27 November, 1992. Both were cremated at Northern Suburbs.
daughter was:-
Norma Joan (b. Aug 30, 1930) married Kenneth Wheeler Eason on 24 Oct. 1959. Ken died May 10, 2011, aged 84. A daughter, Michelle married Robert McDonough on 30 January 1982 and they had a son, Christen in 1983 but she divorced Robert soon after. Michelle, a teacher, is currently living in New Zealand and has recently remarried and in 2001 gave birth to another child.
