I'm 63 years old - Married to Colleen since 1982.
She was a widow when we married and had two sons We haven't had any children ourselves but her two sons regard me as their father. We have two grandchildren, a boy aged 10 and a girl aged 12.
I lost my sight in November 1965 when working in a shearing shed on a farm in the northern part of NZ.
Currently I'm the Presbyterian Minister of Saint Marks Church in the suburb of Mangere NZ. My parishioners are mostly Pacific Island people from Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands, Tokelau Islands, Fiji with a few Europeans and a few Pakistanis thrown in for good measure.
I was born in Auckland and raised in the far North of NZ. I've been the minister in Churches from the Far North to the bottom of the South Island. I've also spent time living in Samoa.
Colleen is 62. She was born in Hamilton NZ. Her Mothers family came from Sussex and thus far I've found at least four members of her Mothers ancestral tree marrying into my own line over the last three hundred and seventy years.
