January 1953.The following is an extract from his obituary, which appeared in the Windsor and Richmond Gazette.

One of our oldest and genuinely esteemed district residents, Mr. George Henry Boyter, of Central Colo, passed away on January 16, at the great age of 93 years. For many years he had carried on farming operations at Central Colo, and was still residing on his farm at the time of his death.

Noted for his transparent honesty and estimable character generally, he was remarkably active for one of his years, and a sturdy independence characteristic of the old pioneer stock prompted him to continue living alone on his property, despite his age and the entreaties of his friends and relatives. On the day of his death he was found unconscious on an unfrequented road near his property, and was conveyed by the Hawkesbury Ambulanceto the District Hospital, but on arrival there life was pronounced extinct.

George married Angelina Mahoney (Kate) Wood, daughter of George Wood and Mary Ann Mahoney, on 15 Aug 1889 in Home Of George Wood At Upper Colo N.S.W. (Angelina Mahoney (Kate) Wood was born on 8 Dec 1872 in North Richmond, NSW Australia, died on 14 Mar 1920 in Waterfall Sanatorium, Sydney, NSW Australia and was buried on 16 Mar 1920 in St Matthews C of E, Windsor, Sydney, NSW Australia.). The cause of her death was Tuberculosis.
