The Victorian Baking Industry.... The minor trophy is the BIAV’s N J Sinne tt Memorial Trophy – and that will go to the apprentice who scores the hig hest score in any of the bread classes in the Apprentice Competition.
The N J Sinnett Memorial Trophy is named after Norman Jeff Sinnett
(Jim). Jim began his association with the baking industry as an apprenti ce in Wodonga. He owned businesses in Echuca, Traralgon and Warragul. J im was president of the Victorian Association of Bakers for 34 years.


Norman married Nellie Olive Brown in 1942 in Victoria Australia. (Nellie Olive Brown was born circa 1920.)
