Robert William Coon

The funeral of Mr Robert William Coon took place on Monday from his residence, Sayle Street, Sebastopool, the remains being interred in the New Cemetery. The pall-bearers were Messrs J.D. Sherin, James Hore, W Richards, R Jenkins, P McCabe and J George. The coffin-bearers were Messrs G Jolly, J Praidie, G Smith and E Rickard. The Rev W H Holtham officiated at the house and grave, The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr C Morris.

Robert married Susan Jane Smith, daughter of John Smith and Jane Marie Elizabeth Robertson, in 1907 in Victoria Australia. (Susan Jane Smith was born in 1882, died on 26 Nov 1950 in Ballarat, Victoria Australia and was buried on 28 Nov 1950 in Ballarat New Cemetery, Ballarat, Victoria Australia.)
