The Kyneton Guardian, Monday Evening, May 13, 1968. LOCAL CYCLIST INJURED. A Kyneton man was transferred to Royal Melbourne hospital early this afternoon after being knocked from his bicycle at about 12.30 p.m. He is Edward Boland of Elizabeth Avenue, Kyneton. Police said Boland was injured when he was knocked from his bike by a truck driven by Lee Winwood of North Kyneton. The accident happened at the corner of Yaldwin and Victoria streets. A private doctor treated Boland at the scene for a crushed chest and he was taken by ambulance to Kyneton hospital before being transferred to Melbourne, Sgt J. Meehan attended the accident.
