LOCAL CYCLIST INJURED.
A Kyneton man was transferred to Royal Melbourne hospital early this afternoon after being knocked from his bicycle at about 12.30 p.m.
He is Edward Boland of Elizabeth Avenue, Kyneton.
Police said Boland was injured when he was knocked from his bike by a truck driven by Lee Winwood of North Kyneton.
The accident happened at the corner of Yaldwin and Victoria streets.
A private doctor treated Boland at the scene for a crushed chest and he was taken by ambulance to Kyneton hospital before being transferred to Melbourne,
Sgt J. Meehan attended the accident.

KYNETON MAN DIES.
Edward Boland of Elizabeth Avenue, Kyneton, died in Royal Melbourne hospital at 10 o’clock on Wednesday night.
He was admitted with severe chest injuries, following an accident in Kyneton on May 13.
